The Spring/Summer 2019 collections marked the London Fashion Week debut of Colter, the eponymous new womenswear line from Sherri Colter. After graduating from Toronto’s Ryerson University — where she won the prestigious Designer of the Year prize — the Canada native went to work for Anna Sui in New York City. A move to London in 2011 paved the way for opportunities with top labels including Erdem, and Peter Pilotto.

Now embarking on her first solo line, Colter is putting her own designs and bold prints front and center. Her background in womenswear design and product development allowed her to hone a keen eye for detail, resulting in intricate embroideries and embellishments, custom-made prints, and the finest fabrics sourced from Europe.

The Colter collection is a celebration of fierce female strength, featuring body-confident cuts, vibrant color palettes, and striking painterly prints with an artistic energy.
